    I have been with this bank for a long time and the last few years the service has been horrible. Their hours are terrible and I literally have to take time off work whenever I need to go to a teller. When I do, I am harassed while waiting in line. What are you here for? Can't you deposit at the machine? Oh, you need foreign cash, how much? I do not wish to discuss my banking or finances while I am in line within hearing of everyone else in line! The last time I was in line I was convinced to make an appointment to see a financial adviser. I was then called 3 different times by a consultant asking if I wanted to make an appointment when I already had one. When the appointment day finally arrived the person at the reception could not find my appointment and I had to wait 20 minutes. Also, they use tactics when trying to get you to invest, like saying if you don't invest and leave your money in your account that you can be frauded and that you need to lock in your funds for your family in case something happens. Even though I had told her that I wanted to think about it but she was very pushy. I then got an e-mail and a call pressing me for a decision. After the appointment I was harassed by phone to take an extra insurance policy. They called at least 5 times even after I specifically said I am not interested. Also, every time I am at the counter they harass me to get a credit card with them and start to explain different options. There are people waiting in line, this is why the wait time is so long. If someone is interested in a credit card they can be at the counter for up to a half hour! As soon as my mortgage is up for renewal I am switching banks!!

    I'd give zero stars if I could. The atmosphere in the bank is miserable. Everyone's unhappy and I truly believe it stems from the manager Caroline. I just transfered my accounts this week,she is so condeseneing to her employees and customers. There is a dark cloud around her and it's not worth the hassle. I hope you find some way to enjoy life better than you have been Caroline.

    Many delays, cancelled appointments, unanswered emails; if you can, it is better to phone their main customer service line, however alas, there are things that can only be done at the branch, avoid it as much as possible

    I have to discuss my debit card with a customer service representative. However a telephone wait time from 15 min to 1 hour is ridiculous. Also, to have to open a ridiculous facebook account to instal messenger in order to chat with someone is also ridiculous. If a client is contacting their bank the service should be almost instantaneous like here in Switzerland. When the time is right we will move our assets away from NBC. I don't use facebook so no messenger. When I call the ile Perrot branch there is no answer. If I leave a message no one calls back as it is an overseas Swiss number. The bank used to be very good. There is a reason why it has a 1.8 rating. I have been with NBC ile Perrot since 1988 and my family has been there since at least the1970ties.

    Have you ever been ghosted by a financial advisor? That's what is currently happening with me after my partner and I applied for a joint loan with financial advisor Marc-Antoine Caron Safar. First of all, we had to remind him to send over the final paperwork, which ended up being the day after he told us he would send it. Then, according to our contract, we were supposed to receive the loan disbursement yesterday. I understand these things can take time to process but since yesterday we have not received a reply by email or phone from him as we have inquired about what is going on. It was never mentioned there might be a delay in the deposit of the loan, nor is it written in any fine print on the contract. With the holidays approaching, one can see how this might be stressful if our week's finances were planned around this money being received before our payday this week. Today I spent my time and gas to go see what is happening in person and try to get a hold of him, since he still hadn't replied to an email I sent at 8am, nor to the phone calls since yesterday and this morning as well. I was assured by his boss that she would personally make sure he calls me straight away when he returned from lunch. I had nothing better to do than anxiously wait and I didnt want to risk having to return again, and I then saw him return from lunch. I waited a good 20 minutes for him to call me as his boss said he would, but went back inside and asked what had happened. His boss then informed me he had to get on a conference call upon returning from lunch, but again personally guaranteed that she'd make sure he called me back in about 45 minutes. That was 3 hours ago as of the time I am writing this. Finally got through to corporate just now and they say it seems he "made a mistake on the dates when filing the loan", whatever that means. Again, people make mistakes and that is not my complaint, it is simply an appalling lack of communication and I've never been ignored in such blatant fashion for something that is so vital to my livelihood.
