If I could give zero stars, I would. This is by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I've been trying to book an appointment because no one at customer service can answer my questions, yet no one at the bank picks up or calls me back.
I've called at least 20 times over the past two weeks with zero response. What's the point of having a phone line and online services if you don’t actually assist your customers? To make matters worse, your hours are completely impractical—I finish work at 5 PM when you close, and you're not open on weekends.
Now, I have to take time off work just to resolve an issue that should have been handled easily. Absolutely ridiculous.
Do yourself a favor and avoid BNC at all costs. I switched to TD, and the difference is night and day.
I hope my review saves you from the frustration I went through.

Only if I can give a 0 star here. If you want honest financial advice, quality service, or maybe a good mortgage, stay AWAY from this bank. They penalized me 4K+ when I sold my apartment, however, nobody here would explain the situation just because my mortgage manager quit her job. They mention nothing about penalty and would rush you to sign whenever they want to sell you a financial product. If you are already hooked here like me, be EXTRA careful when they ask you to sign something. Do NOT trust a single word they say on the phone call. I lost thousands of dollars in my investment accounts at this bank and almost lost my primary residence just because they know I want to switch to another bank and they hold the money when I need it and say that is “for security reasons”. I asked the other banks, they all told me that this kind of things should never happen because it is illegal to hold customer’s funds. They just walk over you if you are being "nice". Worst bank I’ve ever dealt with, so to keep your money safe, use a reputable bank, any of the big five, their services is just at a different level or maybe the local banks who do care about their customers.

Horrible bank. They used lower than market exchange rate just to embezzle your money. Their USD account is a joke, with decimal point minimal interest rate and the lowest exchange rate, you may just lose money transferring funds here alone. Be careful when open your account here, because they won't give your any kind of reminder when the promotion period ends, and they charger 10+ dollars per month without any notification.

AUg 7 - 1pm i had my appoinment with ASSIA AIT OUMGHAR at this branch to open my bank account. Not only did she made me feel unwelcomed and made me walk out without opening a account, I was asked weird and more sarcastic questions like " oh you got a job within a month" , I mean like I am there to get a service not to be treated like a waste. This person was thoroughly unprofessional didnt have any sort of expertise for her role. she wasted my time and further makes me wonder if this bank is even treat their clients well in the future -

Great new concept of a banking branch, no tellers in the branch! Staff here are super friendly and helpful. I'd like to thank Antoine for helping me setup my new to Canada checking, savings and credit accounts. He is very professional and no question was too difficult to answer. Brilliant!
