Update: Do not get a mortgage with Desjardins. They’re more expensive than all other banks.
Waiting 11 days now for a reply to an email about my mortgage. Laughably bad on Desjardins' part.
Opened a joint account with my wife after we moved to Verdun. I was already a Desjardins customer. The employee who opened the account and credit card for my wife didn't make the full address change. The credit card was sent to our old address. They rectified it after we called to get it all sorted out. Not very apologetic for their mistakes.
Honestly, almost impressively incompetent. Wanted to open a line of credit and they couldn’t have less interest in helping me. Call lasted 3 minutes, but had to be booked 2 days in advance. It’s sad that whoever manages this branch can’t get their employees to provide bare minimum service.
I had my mortgage with Desjardins until the end of 2023 and this is a good example of why I switched to a different bank.

I'm sad to have to write this, but I rarely seen such a bad customer experience. Every time we want to talk to our financial advisor, they get us a new person. They get mixed up with meetings schedules. Two times in a row I got a last minute call from them to cancel / postpone because X or Y is not available at the timeslot *they* gave me.
I don't understand how it is possible for banking institution that is managing the money of a vast majority of people in the province to lack organization like this. It's scary. Please do better.

Very nice employees. However, extremely slow. Even when there are 8-10 people in line, the representatives peak their head out of the office but no one comes to help the clerks. Such a shame because the clerks are very nice but they don’t get any help when needed.

Went here during lunch hours, 3 counters open, quick and friendly. Helped me even though I'm at a different caisse technically, no complaints.
