Disgusting client service.
RBC decided to freeze all my accounts because of a suspected fraudulent credit card transaction. Since then its been hell trying to unfreeze my accounts. I've been calling them, spending hours and hours on the phone, went to a brunch to identify myself, now they are telling me that I have to go back to the brunch.
Nobody cares and they keep on passing the pack from one to another, not concerned about my time and the inconvenience they are causing me. This is a terrible bank with the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Be aware !!!

Very disappointing client service. The bank routinely opens several minutes late and the employee leisurely stroll to open the door. There is always a fight to get in through the front door at opening. I was considering bringing my mortgage here, but the mortgage representative never even called me back.

This message is for Jackie and whoever trained Jackie to be a teller at RBC Branch in Rosemere.
This the second time with this teller I go into my bank to withdraw money and I needed to go to the teller because it was over $1000 which is the limit for the ATM. It was the same teller and every time I go to withdraw, she gives me a hard time saying she cannot proceed with the withdrawal as according to her there is likelihood that I am scamming the system by withdrawing money from my own account. Then I end up receiving 1/2 of what I asked for from Jackie. It’s as if, in her head - that “brain” of her, there is a negotiation between the customer and the teller. She fails to understand she’s behind this desk to serve me as an RBC customer for many years. She thinks I am scamming and she claims she does want to be held “responsible” for withdrawing money which is one of the core reasons she’s behind that desk - to complete withdrawals as a teller. I cannot believe the level of incompetence this employee, Jackie, at this bank shows. It makes no sense whatsoever for her to discuss being responsible or not, when I want to withdraw an amount such as $1200. She makes it seem as though I am trying to withdraw hundreds of thousands of dollars on a regular basis, when it’s just a small, immaterial amount.
People like this need to be taken out of society, re-educated and then re-integrated into society and then maybe they will just have a chance at working in a job serving other people, but for the time being it’s better she doesn’t do this type of work dealing with people.
Then maybe when it’s time, a slow reintegration into society on Jackie using logic, reasoning, and rationale can be something that would be of use to her. I would give this rating 0/5 if I could. A majority of the reviews of this branch are negative. It is shocking to me that whoever runs this branch has not take the necessary actions to properly train their employees to give high quality professional service to their customers. Very disappointing RBC.

They care more about pride flags than serving their actual customers. Always a huge lineup, slow service. Sometimes ATMs don’t work. Good luck sending a wire transfer, they will need at least 3 people behind the counter.
